IF MY TORQ. COVT. WAS GOING BAD WHAT WOULD IT DO?

 

I was having a problem with my tranny where I didn't know if it was the actual tranny or the converter causing the problem. My dad said if it was the converter, sometimes it will spew tranny fluid through the dipstick and I think it will also make a noise.

You can also try to drop the tranny pan, and if it's dirty with clutch material or metal shavings, you can know the problem is in the tranny itself. Good luck, tranny problems can be a b*tch.
