My trans 91 700r4 about a year ago had an reseal . everything was done right -with a shift kit work great. I put my tpi unit in it . looking for all the little bugs on it . (side note ) set my base timing at 6degbftdc and the the thing just knock like a deseil. reset it to 0degs. Back to the trans,it locks up in third gear but at less than 1000 rpm and bogs my motor down , now I can down shift but I really dont want to . it just bugs me . It also makes my motor knock bad to do to the low rpms its like putting a stick shift from first to fourth. Is there any fixes around. by the way I know it locks up cause if i just touch the brake it unlocks .
