I just swapped a t-5 for a th350AT , my friend is having problems putting the t-5 in his car ,it's going in a 85 Camaro ,but it has a 305 from a 1978 Camaro in it , He can't use the flywheel from my firebird cause it was a 1987 with a one peice rear main seal ,and the 78 has a two peice rear main seal . Should he use a flywheel from a 82- 84 camaro ,or one from a 1978 . Any comments or suggestions would be a big help .

 

He needs to use the flywheel and starter for a 82-85 305 Camaro/Firebird. Everything will bolt right up and work with no modification whatsoever with those parts.
