WOT in OD = N feeling???
OK, when I first got my tranny rebuilt a yr ago, I could go WOT in OD. Also, it slipped real bad. But, after I did a cam swap the slipping went away and when I went to WOT in OD, it would kick down into 3rd. The other day, though, I nailed it a few times and it freely revved like in N.. What is causing this, bad TC perhaps or is it the tranny?

bascally you are cruisin about 70 or 75 and put your foot in it and it just lets go in neutral?
on the earlier 700r4 tranny they used a weaker 3-4 sprag...I had the exact same problem with mine both before and after the rebuild, until the tranny shop put in a heavier duty unit.
adjusting the cable couldnt hurt though
