Is that what I need inorder to make my 1989 IROC-Z speedometer work with the T56 and 3.73's? I just wnat confirmation becuase ordering the wrong thing would set me back awhile.

looks right to me.
but the only that confuses me is that everyone said it costs between 200 and 300 dollars so it may not be right.

I could be wrong, but I think that the Dakota box is only for 90-92 camaros and 87 and up firebirds b/c they already have electronic speedometers. If you have a cable driven speedometer, you could check out the CableX from Abbott. Like I said, I am not 100% sure about all this.

I have for sale just what you need for only $200.00 plus shipping. look in the classifides for my post. until then, I bought THE kit from jags that run about a year ago that will allow you to modify the tail of the t56 to accept the cable driven speedo. I have the reciept, instructions and the tpi swap book $25.00 value. email me if interested.:lala: :lala:
