I think my clutch master cylinder is fubar'd

My brother was driving my GTA yesterday and all of a sudden the clutch pedal got very soft and the clutch won't disengage. I checked and it is pushing the fork like 1-2 inches, but I guess it's not enough. Question is, do you think I can get this replaced under warranty? I just put a whole new hydraulic setup in like a year ago and I've only put like 5000 miles on it since then. Also when I press on the clutch I can hear a wooshing sound like air coming out of a bicycle tire.. Should I try bleeding it or just replace it?

Any help much appreciated..

i'm gonna guess you got other problems, like in the throwout/pressure plate area.

if the fork is truly being pushed an inch. then that is more than enough.

Ok, I just double checked and it's only moving about 3/4". Definitely not as much as I remember it moving before. Guess I need a new hydraulic setup.

Ok, found the problem. My clutch disc was totally falling apart (Centerforce DF).
