pilot bearing or bushing?
Which should I use? One of my buddies told me to use a bearing with the little rollers in it. Someone else told me not to use a roller bearing because it would break, and that I should get a brass bearing instead. Opinions?

There are quite a few testimonials of bearings blowing up over on CamaroZ28.com, so I went with a bushing.......

Bearings are the heavy-duty application. All trucks use bearings for example.
But like ede said, as long as it's not defective, it hardly matters. I prefer a bearing but either will work fine.

I like the roller bearings, and have had a bunch of them.
Never had any trouble with them , but I always replace them when I do the clutch (inexpensive part, might as well replace it while it's apart).
