Did everyone on this thread buy a dial inch/pound torque wrench? I looked for two days to buy or rent one and no one had one in stock. I looked in a diameter of 100 miles from me, finally I ran down the Snap-On tool rep. and got one ordered, $227. Oh well it is a new tool for my collection. Am I missing something or is there another tool that everyone has access to that does the same job? Just wondering.

No I didn't screw up I am just venting about the uselessness of the tool industry in eastern KY. Also, like the post states did everyone buy this $227 inch/lb torque wrench. There has to be a cheaper way. Thanks

 

Take a look at www.mcmaster.com they have a few for less than that...

i have 6 snap on wrenches now $$$$$$$ if you don't mind used stuff there's always a lot on e bay
