I am concidering getting an slp limited slip unit from SLP. I have an '89 Formula Firebird with 2.73 gears and open diff. What do I need to do to put this 3 series limited slip in my 2 series Firebird.
I suspect I will only need some 3.06 or higher gears in order to use the 3 series posi, is this correct??
Also SLP says that '89 and up has 28spline axels.... some people tell me its '90 and up withe 28spline axels, help.
I dont want to get this limited slip to find-out I cannot use it because I have 26 spline axels.
Will I Be able to do this swap, what do I need and how many spine axels do I have??

yes, just make sure you buy gears to fit it and the axle splines are the same
