I saw that one....looks ok but the guy has 0 feedback....a little shady considering his write up sounds like he's not new to ebay.

From: working at a horse farm, gonna go to somerset county tech. inst. in january.
Car: 87 GMC sierra classic
Engine: fresh 350, minor mods (its been de-emissioned too)
Transmission: professionally re-built 700R4, REALLY hard shifts & bigger clutch packs
Geez is the period button broken on this guys keyboard?

Sounds alright, he knows what hes talking about, or can at least rewrite what the company sent him
Mine costed about 700-800$ to get rebuilt (havent gotten the bill yet), so youd probably be saving some money. Call a local trans shop and ask them what preformance stuff they would do to a 700R4 after you go junkyarding. If the parts and price sound dont sound any better, buy the ebay trans.
Keep in mind if hes not paynig for shipping and isnt close enough for you to go pick it up, shipping is going to be very expensive, so you might end up not saving money on it versus going to a local shop.
