i replaced the cable last year when i swaped in the tpi ,now it started to not down shift and not up shift right so when i went to ADJ the cable i pulled it all the way back and hit the gas no clicks... it even has some slack . so am i to asume that it was just a bad cable or what...., hey a new one is 35.00 so i dont mind replacing it again its juat am i missing something here ?
any ideas would be helpfull thanks

 

This is the exact situation I'm experiencing right now. I bought a new cable and I hope that fixes it, but there is lots of slack in my cable.

This sucks, I get a new tranny behind the car and the TV cable is still nuts.
