th-350 flexplate?

ok what im doing is putting my tpi 305 with a one piece rear main seal motor into a chevy truck. its a 79 with a th-350 tranny. the flexplates r not the same . do any of u know what flexplate i will need to olt a one piece rear main to a th-350? i one that is one the motor will not bolt up to the torque converter. there is about a 1/4 inch space between the flywheel and the torque. i need this information as soon as posable thanks guys.

that gap is normal, there always is some gap between plate and converter, you just have to pull converter forward a little to bolt it up, i dont know if 1/4" is too much or not, probably is fine, you dont want verter all the way into tranny pump anyways.
