I just got my T-56 in Friday and I am wondering about the speedometer, I have a manual driven speedometer, and I know that I could buy the conversion box from Jags that Run...but I don't want to go this route, because $300 is too expensive for that. I was thinking about just buying an Autometer electric speedometer, but after searching on this board for things about it, I couldn't come up with anything. My main question is do I still have to buy one of those boxes for the Autometer gauge to work, or will it work just fine with the vss sensor on the trans? I can't stand the speedo not working, and the trans is going in as soon as I get the Spohn crossmember for my Spohn torque arm. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
