10 bolt vs 9 bolt
What is the difference between the 9-bolt borg-warner and the 10 bolt saginaw for thirdgens?

They are 2 entire different types of rearends. The 9 bolt is much stronger than the 10 bolt, but the 10 bolt is cheaper than the 9 bolt. More information on the 9 bolt is at www.9bolt.com

there are guys in this board running 12's on stock 10 bolts..yea theyll live a fair share of abuse....but its likt russian roulette..ya just never know
10 bolt and 9 bolts are realitively the same in strength. You will hear good and bad about both. But the biggest difference about the two is that the 9 bolt has 'press-on' style axle bearings and no "C-Clip's". Other than that, they are VERY similar....

yeah but it always sounds "cooler" to say you have a 12 bolt.....thats what im lookin to put in my 80 Berlinetta
