From: working at a horse farm, gonna go to somerset county tech. inst. in january.
Car: 87 GMC sierra classic
Engine: fresh 350, minor mods (its been de-emissioned too)
Transmission: professionally re-built 700R4, REALLY hard shifts & bigger clutch packs
Youre supposed to get 700R4s reuilt at 100000 miles. Anyway, it probably is, but in conjunction with a shift kit. Depends on what mods you got to the engine as well. Higher stall convertor? Posi? Different rear end gear ratio (from stock)? stuff like that. Plus its a lot of work to tear into the trans for a higher performance servo, but i say go ahead and do it.

You don't need to tear apart or even drop the tranny to put in the "Vette" servo. It is on the passenger side of the tranny. It's available from Pro-built in a Trans go kit or probably alone.
