It isn't a 3rd gen but any help would be nice. I have a 700ra in a 90 C1500 pickup and it all of a sudden is shifting real hard. And at some points it feels like it isn't shifting at all. The transmission has just been rebuilt a little over a year ago so it should still be good. Any ideas on what could be causing this? The fluid is good nice and full and clean.

 

try adjusting the throttle valve cable ( tv cable) im not sure how to do it, just do a search and im sure youll find info about it.
