Performance gains with gear swap?

Hey guys, my friend went from 2.73 to a 3.73 rear and the difference is the "oh my ***" kind of difference. Im swapping from a 2.77 9 bolt to a 3.45....will i notice a whole lot. i have an L98 , headers, msd, flowmaster cat back.

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
It should be significant, assuming you can get some traction.

What kind of "before" proof do you have?

Youl lose some top end, launch off line faster getting to top end faster...
