Putiting in the Transgo 2&3 Reprogramming kit

I put it the Transgo 2&3 Reprogramming Kit along with the SK 700-Jr-A kit. Everything seems to work good 1-2, and 2-3 but 3-4 wont shift unless Im going about 65 and falls out of 4th around 60. I also have very little overrun braking going down hill in 4th. Im going to be pulling out the valve body again and recheck everything, Does anyone have any ideas for areas to check. Heres a summary of the upgrade:

page 2
A: Pull the pump valve and grind land flush all the way around
B: Put in the green Spring
new int/rev boost Valve , new TV boost valve .500

page 3
VB 1st type plug hole B in Valve Body
Im going for Automatic, not stick

page 4
did step1 Drill .100 hole through partition on angle
enlarge with .157

Page 5
A - New TV valve and tapered spring, B Brown spring, C Red Spring D silver spacer, No shim, My plunger said 94 on it.
E. line bias valve spring- C install blue spring
F. drill .110 vent hole through bottom of passage
G. at end of passage drill .110 hole into valve bore
H. 1st type VB drill .157 hole. I already did on page 4
I. install new small 3-2 control valve and yellow spring
J. install orange spring in 3-4 shift valve- DO NOT DO THIS 3-4 will be late.
1st type no checkball left side, 2nd type install checkball

Page 6
plug 5, F an H - file flush

Page 7
drill A .157
B. no change
C. .157
D. .157
E. .157
G. .110
No auxillary valve body I Have an 85 305

Page 8
A install tapered plug no hole
B install 4th ACC piston then spring
C install two tapered bushings with .063 hole
if hole H is plugged (it is) do not install ball here
if plate has holes 3 and 4 install checkball here (it does)

Next set of instructions
Step1, 2 same as page 2, A and B
Step 3 install Orange spring, piston, blue spring, spring seat in 2nd accumulator body.

Step 4 check number of Servo piston use black spring step E page 3

Step 5 Install blue cusion spring install original spring, discard snapring, re use first spring, install new corvette style second piston and housing, install spring washer and c clip. install 4th piston **** towards cover, cover and cover o ring, retainer. Make sure that Band can wiggle on drum 1/16th inch or you will fry the band for 2 and 4. grind tip if necessary.

page 3
A- D same as 5A-D on first set, tapered spring says it snaps into valve
E- piston code install blk spring
F- which is the same as 5E above except says install a red spring in the Accm valve for .500 boost valve put inthe blue.
this page shows 3 checkballs one of them plastic in the bathtub. No aux valve body.

Page 4
Hole sizes on this page are smaller than on the first set, too late to do anything about that now, which ones are better? The larger one s are ok acoording to Dana.

Check ***** in trans,I installed 4. remember if hole H is plugged (it is) dont install 1.

no 3/8" ball. most shops do not install it

installed two new small filters

That was it. If you installed this kit before this should make sense
Any comments are appreciated

Thanks.

Do not install the orange 3-4 shift timing spring, it will make the 3-4 later yet. 1st or 2nd type take the checkball on the left side of the instructions. The hole sizes of the 700-2-3 Performance Shift kit are what you want. If you have any questions on this call me at 800 7763288 anytime past noon on Saturday.

The problem was 5-J above, I did put the orange spring in th 3-4 valve but it turns out it is not recommended so I took it out and put the orignial one back in and everything works great now. I'm going to post pictures on my website of this upgrade for future reference, Thanks Dana.

I added pictures to my site of the transgo install. I'm still looking for one of my disks, but this will do for now.
