master cylinder rod t-56 problem
hi,
i had a problem putting my first set in,gm was kind enough,to replace it,so now im trying to put the rod onto the pedal,and i just can get it to go on for nothing,it goes half way on,i put some plyers around it,and squeez as hard as i can,and nothing,tried prying behind it with screwdrivers,and still nothing,what am i doing wrong,my last one the rod bent,because it got jammed up in the one crefices,i have factory 3rd gen pedals,my car was a factory 5 speed,i dont know what else to do to get this to slid on there,i have cam lube around it,and in it,still nothing,thanks for anyone trying to help me out,

There is a plastic insert in the pushrod for the master cylinder that won't let it mount on T5 pedals. The hole is too small if you leave the insert on, so you need to either drill the hole larger to fit on the T5 pedals, or remove the plastic piece completely.
