well, heres the skinny
when the tranny is cold, between first and second gear, when it shifts (its an A/T) it slams and its loud and i get scared my tranny is gonna fall out.
when its warm, it doesnt slam as hard, but still slams alil...
when its hot, it dont slam much at all, and shifts like new

any ideas?

 

When did it start? have you or someone added a B&M kit? let me know what the story is on this?

 

heh my Th350 does the opposite... shifts like new when cold, harder when warm, and real brutal when hot. Lol and i DO have a B&M Transpak thingy. Installed it myself wont do that again. I think I left out a few things...

 

yeah mine does about the same thing....i just have a stock 700R4 from an '87 Trans Am.... I have been seriously considering getting it rebuilt.... some guy says he'll do it for $550..you guys think a shift kit is worth it???
