T5 Clutch Fluid Change

I need to bleed my clutch fluid cause it's old and damn dirty too. Can someone give me a quick rundown on how to do it? I've done brakes before...is it similar?
I don't remember seeing a bleeder screw on the clutch cylinder though..
Hmm
Any help is appreciated

well there is bleeder screw.
it is on slave cyl mounts on bellhousing if look at it you will see on upper side a tube comming from master cyl and right next to it (motor side) there is your bleeder screw if you did not find it let me know so I'll send you a pic of it
good luck

Cool, so it's right next to where the tube connects to the cyclinder that goes up to the fill cap under the hood?
Thanks for the info man!

Just a quick question. is the bleeder screw like the ones from brake calipers where I can fit a hose over it and loosen? I remember hearing from someone on here that it may be just a regular screw.
If it's just a regular screw, how do you bleed it without letting air in? Do most guys replace it with a bleeder similar to those on calipers? I wonder if they are the same size..
Thanks for the help!

HERE YOU GO
1 CHECK THE ENTIRE HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT TO MAKE SURE THER IS NO LEAKS

2 FILL THE MASTER CYL WITH DOT3 FLUID (NENT TO BREAK BOOSTER)

3 LOOSEN THE BLEEDER SCREW AT THE SLAVE CYL APPROXIMATELY ONE-HALF TURN

4 FULLY DEPRESS THE CLUTCH PEDAL THENMOVE THE PEDAL THROUGH THREE QUICK AND SHORT STROKES

5 RELEASE THE PEDAL RAPIDLY

6 KEEP DOING IT 'TILL NO AIR EVIDENT IN THE FLUID LEAVING THE BLEEDER SCREW

7 CLOSE THE BLEEDERSCREW IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE LAST DOWNWARD MOVEMENT OF THE PEDAL

When releasing the pedal, won't the system suck air in?
Is the bleeder screw similar to a caliper bleeder where I can attach a tube? .. or is it a simple screw?
Thanks for your help!

the systemwill not suck air if you releasing the pedal rapidly
and the screw is simple you need an allen wrench and I'll send a pic of it today if I got chance.

Thanks man...so I keep filling the top as I pump the pedal - and release the pedal quickly.
When closing the screw, can I hold the pedal down all the way with something and then close the screw..or does it have to be done when the pedal is being pushed to the floor (in this case, i would need someone to assist.)

Thanks again for the help.
