I recently bought a 1989 Firebird Formula 350...the problem is how its shifting...i dont know much about the car, but the kid i got it from said it has a B&M shift kit..it also has a hypertech chip...if that would have anything to do w/ the way its shifting...anyways it will shift into reverse fine...shifts into drive kinda rough...none of the gears slip or anything...but it revs out WAY high before it shifts...sometimes wont shift up at all...and sometimes wont shift down...like stay in 2nd at stop signs...the tranny fluid looks fine..and is full...and i have adjusted the tv cable a few times w/ no changes...does anyone have any ideas what the problem would be?
