How to Tell

well my uncle is a real car guy, he's got his own lot and a bunch of nice cars and know's cars fairly well. anyway i was worried about my transmission takin a crap on me, but he drove it and said all it was is a broken transmission mount, what are the signs of this and how can i tell so i dont waste money on something i dont need. thanks

It's a big troubleshooting tree:

Do you have a Camaro or Firebird? If yes, have you put in a polyurethane mount yet? If no, then it's probably broken. The factory blob of spooge always breaks.

Get an Energy Suspension one and never have to worry about it again.
