I have noticed that there is a D1 D2 drive position on the automatic transmission. What are those gear positions for? Do any of you guys use them?

I tried driving with the D2 gear. It is basically like the regular overdrive, but when you let off the gas, the rpms drop slowly. So if you are driving at 50mph at 3,000 rpm - when you let off the gas, the engine still runs at 3000 and then slowly decelerates instead of dropping revs immediately like in the regular drive.
