i have a two speed automatic trans mission.is this a good strip tranny?

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
In stock form? Not really but it has potential. Many people feel the PG isn't good for a vehicle heavier than 3000 pounds but I guess it all depends on how much HP you make.

Unless you have a high HP car, a TH350 will be quicker in the 1/4 mile with a lower first gear and an extra gear between first and high. It keeps the engine rpms in the powerband better with the extra gear.
