Help with Driveshaft...

Hey guys, i was wondering if anyone would know whether an aluminum driveshaft taken out of a 1995 Camaro V6 would work on my 1985 V8 Trans am?

Axle/Gears: 3.23
all 3rd and 4th gen driveshafts can be interchanged except '82 i believe

Does anyone know what kind of difference an aluminum drive shaft makes? I know it has to save horsepower but can you tell the difference on the track?

no difference at the track, you will probably free up 1-2 HP on average, so nothing that you will be able to feel.
