clunking coming from under the car

there is a clunking noise under my car, i suspect it is a driveshaft/u joint problem. it gets worse the more you speed up. and when i am decelerating. this noise started when i stomped on it from about a 40 mph roll. does this sound like it could be the u joints? and would it be safe to drive for about 7 miles to work under 40 mph?
thanks

well a clunking noise kinda sounds like a tranny mount!

a vibration would most likely be the driveshaft!

Clunk

Sounds like a tranny mount to me..mine was sheared in half. When i floored it..there was this loud thud,,and could actually feel something hitting the floorboard on the passenger side..look at that mount.
