The guy that used to own my 88 iroc, lowered it, but IMO he lowered it too much, I think he either cut the front coils or installed shorter ones.
I want to go back to the stock hight for now, and because I dont have the money right now to buy aftermaket colis, I'm going to get a pair from the wrecking yard.
My question is: Sould I look for any particular coil or donor car? or do all V8 cars (3rd gen F bodies) have the same type of coils?
As for the rear ones, it just has a pair of lowering clamps (or watever the name is) on each coil. I just have to take them off.
Any input will be greatly apreciated

you want to get the iroc-z springs from a camaro or the ws6 springs from a firebird..
The IROC and WS6 cars have a heavier spring rate. Use a dial caliper and measure the thinkness of the spring wire. Standard V8 springs will have a thinner wire. Find a set of springs with the same wire thickness and they'll work fine. You could just use regular V8 springs. They'll ride a bit softer. The IROC and WS6 springs offer better handling because of the stiffer springs.
Don't forget that third gen springs from the junk yard are now 10-20 years old. They could be worn out from all the miles of driving.

I can attest to the worn out springs issue! Mine are original and my car is at least an inch lower than spec....
