my car is moody
the past few months ive been driving my car to my school and problems starting the car have been occuring. now my car is an 87 LT. but it has a transplanted 92 5.0 305 LB9 TPI. now every once and a while the car will have trouble starting, i'll crank it for a couple of seconds, and the thing doesnt even sputter, i do this a couple of times with no preval.
then when i let it sit for not even a minute and i turn it over easily.
now i do let the fuel pump run, but that doesnt help lol, i alo aready changed the fuel filter. now my next task is to replace the spark plugs, coil, spark plug wires, and distrubuter cap. if anyone had a similar problem and fixed it, i wouldnt mind hearing how.
p.s. i was looking on napa for parts and there are 3 diferent types of coils, and the same number of caps, which ones do i get??
thanks

Re: my car is moody
my dad and me came to the realization that were gonna replace the fuel pump and see if that fixes the problem, i always have the issues when im below a half of tank so well see
Re: my car is moody
unless you got the time and money i would be checking fuel pressure first before even wasting time and money on a pump. no need in replacing part after part hoping it fixes the issue at hand.
