6 speed torque specs please....
Hey guys. I shelled the clutch in my 6 speed third gen and I'm in the middle of installing a replacement. Could someone please give me the torque specs for the flywheel bolts and pressure plate bolts from a mid '90s Camaro/Firebird with a 6 speed?
Thanks!!!

Well, I don't have info for a 6 speed but I can give you the specs from a 1990 V8 T5. It should give you a good idea:
-Pressure plate-to-flywheel: 30 lb/ft
-Flywheel-to-crankshaft: 74 lb/ft
-Bellhousing-to-engine: 70 lb/ft
-Dust Shield: 53 lb/in
-Pressure plate-to-flywheel: 30 lb/ft
-Flywheel-to-crankshaft: 74 lb/ft
-Bellhousing-to-engine: 70 lb/ft
-Dust Shield: 53 lb/in
Thanks Cali. It's the pressure plate bolts that I'm really concerned with and since the 6 speed pressure plate is so different from anything else, I really want to be sure that it's right.
Anyone else?
Thanks,
-Tony
