Engine: 355

Transmission: 700r4

rears

will the rear from an 84 trans am bolt up to an 85? i know this is probably going to be yes but i just want to make sure

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86

All third gen diffs from 82-92 are direct swaps. Even fourth gen diffs will bolt right in except the diff is wider by about 2" on each side.

no differnt they are the same i believe... 84 auto lg4 and 85 auto i don't recall what rear it is
