Rear End Question

whats better? 2.77 posi? or 3.23 open drum?

and how do i kno what size rear i have? without pulling the pumpkin off?

IMO a 2.77 posi would be better. I know right now a posi would help me tremendously. Posi is real nice and will help you hook. From a dead stop the 2.77 posi would be better than a 3.23 open but from a role the 3.23 would be better. How about a 3.73 posi!

try and search you rpo codes, or try and look on the outside of the rear end for any info..

The 9-bolt 2:77 with the limited slip is a stronger and better axle assembly then the 10-bolt open 3:23 and we did not mention disc vs drum. My opinion.
