Tranny mount replacement Q's???
I bought an energy suspension poly. trans. mount and went to put it on the car. I put the mount in and noticed that the only bolt they supply in the kit didn't fit into the mount, where it holds the crossemember up. I could only get this bolt in a few threads before it would stop going in, and the bolt on the old mount looks like it's part of the mount and not supposed to come out, there's no head or anything. My question is what bolt do you use to connect the crossmember to the mount? I put the stock one back in for now, but I'd like some help with fixing this. Thanks.

I think I had this same problem twice with the ES mount. The bolt they supply wouldnt pass through the crossmember. I ended up drilling the hole in the crossmemebr out some to get it to fit. The OEM mount has a bolt that is bonded to the mount and uses a nut to hold it together. it all esles fails then take the mount to a local hardware store and get the correct bolt. make sure it is a grade 8 bolt
