gonna be scrapping a perfectly good 87-up 700r4 right ?
i take it that 2.8L engines have whole other bellhousing pattern than 4.3L and V8 and straight 6 engines, correct ?
im pretty sure since 2.8 are 90 degree, just need reassured so i know to just let the entire drivetrain of the 88 go to scrapyard.
too bad.... id love to have the 700 under the 82,... or keep for spare since its updated version..
thanks for anything

2.8s are 60* engines and the tranny will only fit 2.8s 3.1s and 3.4 that i know of, it wont fit anything liek the 3.8s 4.3s or any v8s

but they changed the case and added aux valve body in 87 though and V6 parts cant be any better than V8 ones, everyone warns about using a V6 or 4 cyl 700r4 behind a V8
thanks
thanks
