Park is now reverse ?

Ok what is wrong with my car. when i shift into park my 85 trans am goes in reverse. It feels loose like the teeth or whatever in the gears dont hold . I already spent 2,200 fixing brakes, something with the idle and tune ups, some computer chip and I alot more. I just changed the transmission fluid 2 months ago. how much will it cost to fix this problem now ?

Check to see that the two bolts that bolt the shift linkage bracket to the tranny didn't come loose.

you misunderstood

no i spent 2,200 fixing the engine and some electric stuff. like horn and trunk button and lights. I had to get whole new brakes drums and pads costing $ 220. Just curious i went around looking for tires and i found the cheapest at $128 each is that really the cheapest other then used ones ???

Go to Tirerack.com. I bought 4 Kumho 712, 255/50/16, "Z" rated tires for like $88 each. To have all 4 shipped to my front door, was about $395.
