TC lockup question
What would you recommend for a good torque converter lockup speed for a '85 TA with a '89 305 TPI? I am going to update the ecm and I will be getting a prom burned so I'd like to know if I should change the lockup. The car is a daily driver, I haven't gone to the strip nor do I plan to any time soon. What speed is best? Any other info needed? O yeah, I think there is a shift kit in the tranny, the thing shifts nice and hard. Also had it rebuilt last April.
Thanks.
Matt
Thanks.
Matt

What is your rear gear ratio, and tire diameter?
What kind of driving do you do - commuting, stop&go, highway, mix?

I have 15" rims and a 60 aspect ratio. My gearing is stock. I'll check when the snow storm is done.
Sorry it took so long to get back my moniter is screwed up and I can barely see anything.
Thanks,
Matt
