Transmission: TH-400
Axle/Gears: 4.11
switching trans

what trans will hold up better th350 or 700r4. will be going with 3500 stall , manual shift, and would like a trans brake. see my sig for the rest of the car. (yes i want to go fast!) thanks for your opinions.
maybe up to 400horse NOS. depends on how my friends 85 blown 406 runs in the spring .

If you want something that is bulletproof, go with the TH400. These will take an easy 750-800 HP without any aftermarket hard parts. You will need the Trans-Go Performnace Shift kit, 34 element sprag, Borg Warner Hi-Energy clutches and front band, etc. I have all the parts needed to build this trans correctly the first timeor I can build you one. Let me know.
