please help!!! think its the tranny

ok heres the deal i just got my second 92 camaro a few months ago. its a 92 Z-28 1LE 350 tpi 700r4 3.23 posi car. I am the third owner and the second whom i bought it from new that it was a 1LE car only because he was told when he had his brake pads changed. The car has a few mods from the first owner incluing a full hotchkis rear centerline billet 5 stars but the only mod that the guy i bought it from knew about was a deeper tranny pan. The motor seems to be completly stock otha then a new but OEM ing. system plugs wires dist. coil etc. anc 160# stat. Now heres the question: the car pulls really hard and out of the whole the car gets completly no traction and chirps hard into second and nicely(but softer then 1-2) into third. also from a roling start of about 10 mph when then nailed the car loses all traction. This is all done wit street tries and wit the tranny in drive. The reason y i posted this here is do u guys think the car may have a shift kit or non-OEM converter(the reson possibilly for the new deep tranny pan i mean y would someone just add a deep pan?) or since the rear done maybe steeper gears? again i'm pretty sure the motor is completly stock not even k&n's. Please help b/c i have no idea by the way the car has 94k on it:hail: :hail:

if it shift really hard and smooth into the 1-2 shift with 94 k miles then i would take a guess and say it has a shift kit and maybe even other tranny goodies...

an easy way to find out about the torque converter would be to press down the brake and then press the gas some and see where the car (rpm wise) stalls at untill it starts to break loose... stock would be around 1,200 or something low like that..
