Starters for t56's

I'm getting ready to order my flywheel from Jegs soon and would like to get a new starter in the same order and was wondering what you T56 guys were running as far as aftermarket starters. Models and part #'s are greatly appreciated.

I am running a starter for a 305 car. The soleniod is smaller on it. Just ask the tech guy for a high torque MINI starter

im using a new (not used) High torque mini starter that is just a replacement part for the 4th gen cars.
works great with the 4th gen flywheel. i would assume it should work for your new flywheel too.

I am using the stock LT1 starter. The only problem I have seen on some starters is the nose cone is a bit to big. If you stay with a small nose high torque you should be fine.

Get the LT1 started. It cranks the engine alot easier than the 3rd gen starter.
