TH350 or TH400?

Which should I get TH350 or TH400 I can get both, although they both need to be rebuilt. which one would be best?

Car: 87 IROC L98

Engine: 588 Alcohol BBC

Transmission: Powerglide

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86

The TH350 is an easier swap. The TH400 is a stronger transmission.

Engine: 305 TBI

Transmission: 700R4

the 350 is a much simplier swap the 400 is a great heavy duty tranny, but disadvvantages to both are no overdrive
