DUDE!!! OPEN UP A JEG"S AND BUY A POSI!!!! open the box when it comes and install it in your rear end-----It doesn't get any more logical!! BUT maybe I'm misunderstanding you so pardon my sarcasm. I'm just trying to help.

It would help if you say what year 10-bolt and car model, so we know what axle shafts you have. Then maybe some one would give some options on a Limited Slip (Posi is a GM name).

Not too much you can do, other than come up with a posi carrier and install it. Pretty straightforward, no shortcuts or magic tricks I know of, but quite easy just the same. Even I can manage it, so it has to be easy.
Just avoid the ones that come in S trucks; they're easy to spot, they have little weights in them. They're made by Eaton, who calls them Gov-Lock; the rest of us call them Grenade-Lok. And of course, make sure that the posi carrier you get, is for 3 series gears, not 2 series. 2 series is 3.08 and lower, 3-series is 3.23 and higher.
