Posi Rear End

I have a Stock 10 bolt 3:73 rear end, however its not a posi, what will be the best way to convert this to a Posi 3:73 Rear End.

"I want this baby to Hook"

Thanks: David

It would help if you say what year 10-bolt and car model, so we know what axle shafts you have. Then maybe some one would give some options on a Limited Slip (Posi is a GM name).

Not too much you can do, other than come up with a posi carrier and install it. Pretty straightforward, no shortcuts or magic tricks I know of, but quite easy just the same. Even I can manage it, so it has to be easy.

Just avoid the ones that come in S trucks; they're easy to spot, they have little weights in them. They're made by Eaton, who calls them Gov-Lock; the rest of us call them Grenade-Lok. And of course, make sure that the posi carrier you get, is for 3 series gears, not 2 series. 2 series is 3.08 and lower, 3-series is 3.23 and higher.
