swapping a T5 to a TH350 HELP!??!!

Hey everyone. My T5 is just about to dump on me due to the 350 swap. So I was looking around for a tranny and ended up with a TH350 in good shape. Can anyone walk me thru what all parts I will need to get to hook this up? I have no idea when it comes to tranny's. Also, I don't have a torque converter, just the tranny itself. Thanks everyone!

Well as far as mounting and driveshafts, the T5 and 700R4's are the same, so when the searches come back up you can search for 700 to 350 swaps. It's really easy to do though. I swapped from a 700 to a 350, then a 350 to T5, so I've done it all, all I have left is T56...haha. Basically all you will need is the hurst (don't get B&M, it dosn't come with everything you need) 350 conversion which allows the torque arm and the trans mount to be mounted in a the stock position. You will need to cover up your shifter hole and then drill it so you can mount an automatic shifter there. You don't have to get automatic pedals if you don't mind the clutch being there. If you can't find the automatic pedals anywhere, I've got a set layin around ($20+ship if u want them). As you mentioned you will need a torque converter, TCI makes really good ones, again don't get a B&M one. As long as your trans is a 6" and not a 9" tail you can reuse your driveshaft no problem (if it is a 9", let me know I have a driveshaft lyin around, brand new). Basically that's the only things you should need. I would say the only thing you will probably have any troubel with would be getting a plate welded in over your shifter hole and then getting a new shifter mounted there, but other than that it's not hard at all. Any other questions?? Good Luck!
