TH350 Swap
I'm changing the 200C for a 350 and the search is down.
Are the ratios allways the same for a TH350 - like 2.52, 1.52 etc. because I think I saw something about trucks having 2.74 and 1.57.
I read that I should start with a late 70s core for the rebuild but I need to know if that should be out of a particular vehicle type or are they all the same ratios.
Read to that the B&M swap kit does not have everything you need and the Hurst kit does - is that correct and if so what's missing.
Finally, what stall to use. The car has a stock LG4 with Hedmans and a Hooker cat back. Rears are 3:23s. Tyres are 26 inch.
The car is used for aggressive street more than anything else. Will probably install HO350 GM crate eventually but I expect I'll need another converter when that happens.
Thanx

Yeah they are all the same. I had seen in a thread that some were different and I wanted to clarify it. I think someone had confused the 200C for a 350 with different ratios 2.74 1.57 etc.

i pretty much junked the B&M instructions (although i did use them when installing my MegaShifter)
i had to drill a few extra holes in the bracket
you do not need to remove the tailhousing...........just 3 out of 4 of the tailhousing bolts to put the bracket on, then put the bolts back in
