Do ring gear spacers for 7.5" 10-bolt exist?

I have a posi carrier out of a 2.93 rear from an 82 Trans Am. I broke the rear end in my 84 and was wondering if anybody knows where I can get a ring gear spacer for the 7.5" to make it work with my 3.73's in the 84. All I have found is for the 8.2, 8.5 and 12-bolt rears. Right now I have an open carrier in there, and I cant even open it up in first gear without frying the tire....:hail: L69/5-speed. Anyway, are there any companies out there that have them? Thanks all.

Just don't "brain-fart" like I did when I installed the new gears and spacer-they ring bolts are REVERSE thread. DUH...my HD Mac impact gun has never let me down and I kept wondering, why did GM tighten these darn bolts so tight.

yeah, i did the same thing when i rebuilt my rear. I couldn't figure out if they were reverse thread or just really tight, so i called the local transmission shop, seeing as this is what they do all day. and asked. The guy told me that they were regular thread, just on really tight. So what happened was i ended up stipping the first couple bolts, until i realized what i was doing. They're like $11 each from GM, but you can get 'em aftermarket for much cheaper.
