I have a 92 RS that supposely had the trany swapped with a TH350. My question is the speedo isn't hooked up and from what i know it's electronic. How can I identify that it's a TH350 and will my stock speedo work or am I going to have to get a gear driven one?

do you have 3 gears? if so, its most likely a th350....also, the trans pan should be in the shape of a rectangle with a little square cut out of the corner.

 

yup 3 gears. and from what i can tell thats the pan it has on it. I haven't gotten under it yet.

 

sounds like a th350 to me. i remember seeing something a while ago to hook up a gear driven speedo to an electric i just cant remember for the life of me where....im sure someone else has done it.
