SLP take off posi

i have it and the 28 spline axles, they are just waiting for the car to come outa storage for teh install. i was just woundering... is there anything that should be replaced or checked in these posi units before they are installed? also i just need to varify this... no posi aditive is needed do to teh zexel not being clutch driven.

Axle/Gears: 3.45, 3.73, 3.73
replace the carrier bearings, trust me on this one, they might look fine, so did mine, but they made hella noise

also, i used additive, cause it was in the gear lube i bought, i dont think you need it though

the nine bolt posi dont need it either since its a cone posi, but they recommend it since it will reduce chatter

where would i get these bearings and how much do they cost?

I'm not sure on the cost, but you can pick up the carrier bearings at any auto parts store.

you can get them at any parts store, should be 10-15 bucks a peice. the part number is on the bearing race (usually the outer, which is still in your rear end) My gear kit came with them (i bought the more expensive one) but if your not doing gears also, you wont have the kit

dont skimp, this is cheap insurance, trust me i learned the hard way, they get banged up way to much during the handling they get from SLP.
