what do you call cheap? really more cost effective to buy 28 spline axles and a slp posi.

Non-take-off posi carriers and conversion products like PowerTrax run about the same - ~$350. If you're happy with your current gear ratio, you can install the PowerTrax yourself. If you want to change your gear ratio at the same time, go with an aftermarket posi carrier (available in 26-spline version) or the above-mentioned SLP take-off - but, you're looking at set-up labor which will add to the cost.

Most likely, the cheapest setup you'll find is getting an entire rear axle that already has a posi and the gear ratio you want in it.

A power trax unit is the best cheap posi that will work with your axles, easy to install to.
