No 2-3 wot shift on 700-r4

A few months my tranny started doing this on occasion and now it's a permanent thing. My tranny won't upshift from 2 to 3 at WOT. It also now has the harsh 1-2 part throttle shift, but that doesn't really bother me. So I was thinking about putting in a trans go shift kit. Do you think it is possible or even likely that that will fix the 2-3 shift problem. If I'm at anything less than full throttle everything is fine. Is there anything else short of a rebuild that I could try to fix it?

Also, I was looking at the shift kits on pro-built's site, and I was wondering what the advantage/disadvantage is of getting the kit with the .500 boost valve vs. the .471 boost valve. Is it worth the extra $75? What about the parts for the wot 3-4 shift, does that come with the shift kit too or do I need to buy the separate parts from gm? I'd like to get everything together to do at the same time.

I tried the search and I guess it's still not working, or I just couldn't come up with anything on the topic.

Thanks in advance

well the shift kit didnt solve my absent 2-3 shuft like i hoped it would. however, i have a .500/.296 boost valves and a vette servo waiting to go in. hopefully those will do the trick.
