how to cover my speedo gear hole in TH350?

Transmission: 700R4/4L60 same trans different name
how to cover my speedo gear hole in TH350?
until i can get around to finding the correct speedo gear for my TH350, what can i use to cover the hole so i can atleast drive the car?

May be able to find a welch/freeze plug to fit it. Only down side is that the speedo gear provides splash lube for the rear bushing.
